The record-breaking Gravy Train Catering team go on to provide the meal service on "The Coronation" a 50th anniversary tour. Keeping it in the family - the team included 3 sets of fathers & sons. The total catering experience of the team shown in this picture is in excess of 200 years! Is this a further record?

March 2008 - Customer Letter

We understand that you were the Catering Company ....... for the Barrow to Bath excursion on Sunday last.

We would like to thank you for the  excellent service and quality of catering which we experienced on what was a most enjoyable day.

Your professionalism, organisation and quality of service shone through and I know that we were not alone in our admiration for the work of all the team involved. They were so very efficient and  personable. This cannot be easy when dealing with the unpredictable movements of the train however athletic!

We know, from personal experience, nothing like this would be possible without the leadership, management and planning behind the scenes and we would be grateful if you would pass on our thanks and congratulations to all concerned.

We are booked on ........ trip in September so are hoping we will experience the delights of your company again.

The record-breaking Gravy Train Catering team who served over 6000 meals during 9 days of the "The Great Britain" railtour in Spring 2007. A continous 9 day tour has never been done before.
